Self-care has become a buzzword nowadays, yet when you’re going through a bumpy fertility ride, it becomes a crucial skill. An unfulfilled desire to conceive is heart-breaking and requires a lot of time, attention, and energy. It is, however, also an opportunity to learn, practice, and master the art of self-care.

But how do you take care of yourself during a stressful fertility journey?

It is mostly the case that those who are trying to conceive for some time already live healthy lives – they eat healthy; they don't smoke; they don't drink that much alcohol - and yet the second line has still not appeared on their pregnancy test

If you already take good care of your body, what else can you do to take care of your body?

Moreover, during a medical fertility treatment, attention is mainly paid to the physical aspects of becoming pregnant, but the mental/psychological aspects are actually just as important, if not more important.

Views are on this issue tend to vary: You can conceive the process of becoming pregnant or health in general as a purely biological matter. You can also agree with the fact that your mind influences your body. Or: You actually suggest that your body follows your mind. Regardless of what you believe in, it is worth paying attention to your mind for your own peace of mind.
